about

Smalltownfreakz aka Benjamin Kreß is a young & versatile man based in Northern Germany. Beside his project Smalltwonfreakz he is DJ, partypromoter and head of his own little artist & DJ agency Ben.ch-Bookings.

His first contact with electronic music was techno and he started to produce it in his own and striking style. Later he interweaved his knowledge in intricate pattern and started around 2012 his progressive trance project Smalltownfreakz.
The netlabel Multiplex Records became his base and he got a lot of gigs in Germany --- without any public release!
It was followed by other gigs e.g. in Denmark --- again without having a single public release!

To bring it to the point: This is his first public release ever!

I am very happy to have him on this EP!

Edit: This remix is showing his off-beat-soul. Don´t think thats it ... Some weeks ago I sat with him in the hotel and
he played some psy-progressive tracks during the waiting period ...
... first track ... Me: "Talpa?" He: "No. Me!" ...
... second track ... Me: "Egorythmia?" He: "No. Me!" ...
... third track ... Me: "Now its Talpa dude..." He: "No. It´s me!"
... no kidding :-)
